EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY
Empowering Future-Ready Learners
Education Technology is purposefully integrated into our learning experiences. Guided by our belief in nurturing Curious Minds, Caring Hearts and Creative Spirits, we empower students to be confident learners and creative problem-solvers. Students are equipped with digital competencies to gather and evaluate information, interpret and analyse data, and use software and devices to apply knowledge and skills. They also learn to produce digital products and collaborate online.
Our programmes develop the skills and knowledge for digital learning and communication, while nurturing the critical thinking, creativity and values needed to thrive as responsible citizens in an increasingly digital world.
AI-Enabled Learning
As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes more prevalent in our daily lives, we place strong emphasis on equipping students to understand what AI is, identify its potential benefits, limitations and risks, and leverage AI tools effectively for learning. Our teachers harness pedagogically sound Education Technology tools — including AI-enabled ones — to support greater customisation and personalisation of students’ learning experiences, enabling them to learn more effectively and efficiently.
Through AI-enabled platforms such as the Student Learning Space (SLS), students engage with learning experiences that:
• Provide timely and targeted feedback
• Support idea generation, comprehension, and reflection
• Develop students’ ability to express and communicate ideas effectively
• Enable self-paced learning according to each student’s readiness
As students grow in confidence and maturity, they are guided to develop AI literacy and a greater sense of responsibility in using AI ethically and meaningfully. Through carefully scaffolded experiences, they grow as adaptive and reflective learners who take increasing ownership of their learning journey.
Developing Strong Digital Competencies
Our Digital Literacy programme equips students with the competencies to find, think, apply, and create using technology.
Students engage in customised learning experiences on SLS, progressing through a structured series of courses that build skills across levels. These courses promote active learning, self-directed exploration, and meaningful application of digital tools.
Building a Good Foundation
Primary 1 to 3 students build confidence in:
• Using digital devices and platforms
• Following routines for effective use
• Developing basic typing skills through structured practice
Learning to Curate, Connect and Create
Primary 3 to 5 students participate in a series of gamified, mission-based digital literacy courses on SLS, earning badges as they progress through different learning experiences.
Through these structured experiences, students grow from consumers of information into creators of knowledge, equipped with the skills and dispositions to navigate and thrive in a dynamic digital landscape.
