Overview
Riding on Singapore’s recent youth achievement (12 medals at the 2025 SEA Youth Championships), Palm View hopes to capitalise this renewed fervour in the sport to inspire our children to do their best and aspire to one day represent the nation in an international sporting event.
The sport requires focus, repeated effort, ability to handle pressure, anticipate and respond to different game situations. This aligns to the school’s motto to ‘Inspire Excellence’.
Learning Outcomes
From the CCA, the students will be able to:
Learn the rules, different styles of play, improve their hand-eye coordination, agility and reaction speed.
Gain exposure to the wider table tennis community through internal and external competitions.
